Here's my current rig as of August 2024. This is built on a Pedaltrain Jr. MAX with front feet risers to accommodate for the pedals mounted underneath. There are also custom 3D printed risers under the back modulation effects pedals so that they are easier to press. (Pictures are somewhat out of date, see specs below.)
Signal Path:
Exact details below, but to summarize, I run the signal in through the volume tuner, the compressor, and through the boost. The Tilt boost is an excellent always on pedal which lets me sculpt my signal strength and EQ depending on the guitar I am using. Into the looper, my first three spots activate my first three drives, and the last three spots activates my pedals underneath the board. For those wondering, the Neunaber WET is used as a tri-chorus pedal. (The Walrus Jupiter and Walrus Julia are activated manually outside the looper as they are used less frequently.)
The signal then goes into the Julia and then converts into stereo after entering the Strymon Timeline, through the BigSky, and Microcosm, and into the stereo input of the Simplifier DLX. Out of the Simplifier, the signal can go three ways: Stereo out via XLR with preamp/cabsim, stereo out via 1/4" with preamp/cabsim, or stereo 1/4" out of the THRU output directly to one or two tube amps. The A/B switching of the 1/4" stereo outputs are handled via my custom A/B summing box. With this setup I could run two tube amps as well as a stereo cabsim output at the same time.
In terms of MIDI:
The micro clock sends MIDI clock to the Microcosm and the Strymon pedals, as well as sends tap tempo to the Suhr Jackrabbit underneath the board. The back row is mainly controlled by MIDI, with the DMC.micro controlling preset banks on both Strymon pedals, and the JET MCX controlling the functions of the Microcosm, as well as toggling infinite freeze on the BigSky, and infinite repeats on the Timeline. Underneath, the Quadra Merge combines all the signals together for easy routing.
Some other notable mentions are my personal project the NEXUS Astro, which I created to control my iPad's music sheets, a USB C charger to charge phones and tablets, and the aux-in and headphone out on the Simplifier DLX which serves as an excellent backup stereo IEM option when needed. Also, all pedals that have been rehoused I have done personally through my company Rogue Rehousing
